The Beloved Talisman depicts the face of Queen Nefertari whose name means "beautiful companion". She was the Great Wife of King Ramesses II who often called her "The One for Whom the Sun Shines". She was highly educated, well respected, and adored by Ramesses II, who had an impressive temple built for her at Abu Simbel. In this Talisman she wears a Ureaus, or rearing cobra, symbolizing sovereignty, royalty, and divine authority.
